‘SUPER SATURDAY 14’ ON SATURDAY JULY 30TH IN WATERMILL, NY , USA.

THIS WORLD FAMOUS GARAGE SALE WILL BENEFIT OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH FUND (OCRF)

Press Release:

Super Saturday was created in 1998 by Donna Karan, the late Liz Tilberis and Next Model Management founder and OCRF’s President, Faith Kates. Donna Karan has underwritten the event since its founding and all net proceeds go directly to OCRF’s research programs. InStyle has been a sponsor and host of Super Saturday since 2001.

In 2010, Super Saturday raised over $3.4 million for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

On Saturday 30th July Emma Roberts and Kelly Ripa along with Donna Karan, Ariel Foxman and InStyle will host Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s (OCRF) 14th annual Super Saturday at Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill, New York from 1:00PM – 6:00PM with a special preview hour beginning at Noon.

Super Saturday 14 is a fun-filled, family-oriented daylong fundraiser to benefit OCRF, complete with a one-of-a-kind designer garage sale, kids’ carnival and activities, a luxury raffle and gourmet treats. Once dubbed “the Rolls Royce of garage sales,” the most anticipated element of Super Saturday is the fashion garage sale, which includes merchandise from over 200 prominent designers including: Donna Karan, Theory, Jimmy Choo, Pratesi, Robert Rodriguez, Diane von Furstenberg, Elizabeth & James, Haute Hippie and Ralph Lauren.

For the fourth consecutive year, the “Designers A to Zoe” booth by Rachel Zoe will feature luxury designers such as Kara Ross, Rag & Bone, Marc Jacobs, Elise Overland, Jean Paul Gaultier and Etro among others.

Once again, OCRF has joined forces with leading multimedia retailer QVC® to make this exciting event available to shoppers nationwide. Broadcasting live from 2:00PM – 4:00PM, QVC Presents Super Saturday Live will offer viewers the chance to purchase a variety of products including apparel, accessories, jewelry and beauty with net proceeds benefiting OCRF.

In addition to incredible shopping, Super Saturday 14 will offer attendees an afternoon of indulgences including the Votre Vu French Spa Station featuring anti-aging skin treatments and samplings of their self-preserving sun-block; a place to relax and rejuvenate at the InStyle Cabana; the Color Club Color Bar offering guests manicures and nail art; the Aruba Happy Lounge featuring Aruba Aloe hand massages and a chance to win a four-night stay in Aruba; the Piperlime.com photo tent and the @Home Market filled with designer vignettes featuring unique furniture and one-of-a-kind pieces by Traditional Home Magazine, One Kings Lane and the New York Design Center all for sale at awesome prices. And, for the first time this year Charity Buzz will be hosting a special Super Saturday auction with amazing one-of-a-kind VIP experiences, celebrity meet & greets and so much more! Bidding will be live at the event or at www.charitybuzz.com/supersaturday.

About Ovarian Cancer Research Fund:

Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) is the largest private non-profit organization in the United States dedicated exclusively to funding ovarian cancer research. Our mission is to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer. Each year there will be approximately 22,000 new cases of ovarian cancer in the United States, and about 15,500 women will die of the disease. Currently there is no effective means of early detection. Since 1998, OCRF has awarded nearly $40 million in grants for ovarian cancer research. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, OCRF sponsored researchers are developing innovative strategies for early detection; exploring the genetics that increase risk for ovarian cancer; understanding the underlying molecular biology of the disease; identifying new and better targets for treatment; and deciphering how and why ovarian cancer spreads, and how to stop it.

For more information or to join us in our fight, please visit OCRF’s website at www.ocrf.org.
